Description
This amoeba-inspired brooch is formed by heating the surface of the silver until it melts and flows to form a unique reticulated surface. Granular silver balls and pieces of wire have then been fused to the surface. The reticulated surface has been enhanced by oxidising with liver of sulphur – reminiscent of the cytoplasmic contents of an amoeba.
